"Barneykiwigirl, here is a quick comparison of the two fridge models that you have so far investigated. It is only when you stack options side-by-side like this that the exceptional performance of the new Danfoss compressor becomes fully evident.

Hi Neville -my research has found this fridge - but I am not sure what type of compressor? Thoughts?

Physically, the CRX 1140 is the same fridge as the CR 1140 in my comparison table, except that it has a different compressor. While the CR 1140 had the old model Danfoss/Secop compressor, the new CRX 1140 may not - but it certainly does have one that features the same technology "Smart systems electronically regulate the compressor speed, achieving energy savings".
This is reflected in the published power consumption figure of 28 AmpHours/24h day (versus 55 Ah with the old compressor.)

Neville.
