Okay, we will get the ball rolling rolling with this, possibly this thread will take off like the "where is this" topic.

Tonight we are parked in a settled spot at Pine Harbour near Beachlands, over looking the Hauraki Gulf. The wind is blowing a gale outside but we are very comfortable and warm in the motorhome. Last night we were up at the ARC Omana Reserve near Maraetai. As a friend commented recently, we sure sleep around alot, meaning of course all the different spots we find to park over for the night ;)

Tomorrow night, where will we be, who knows, depends on the weather and where our mood takes us through the day?

So where are you right now?

Hi Grant and Smillie. You just start these things off to make us jealous I'm sure.
Stuck at home after a day of working bedlam - anyone would think GST was going up to 150% tonight not 15%. Never mind tomorrow will probably be quiet to compensate. Meanwhile just dream of more settled weather so we can get away a bit more often.

At home in Mosgiel, getting ready for work on a cool, overcast Friday. :(
On the good side, Freda was packed last night and as soom as Liz gets home tonight, we are out of here.
We may go down to Taieri Mouth for the weekend so I've put the whitebait net in, just in case. ;)
This is the first trip away since Easter and the new interia in the bus, so its like another maiden voyage
The forcast sounds OK but who cares. Even if it snows, we are out of the drive way by 5.30pm
Everyone have a great week end.

Have a great weekend, Tony & Liz, Jim and Sue. Raining around Auckland, but expected to clear after midday. But, as you mentioned Tony, who cares, a mobile lifestyle is just one big adventure ( most of the time!) :) Smillie

I am back up the coast parked up at the Camping Ground at Tokomaru Bay. I estimate that I have about 8 - 10 days working from here, and then back to the Waikanae Beach camp in Gisborne for a similar time and then home for Labour weekend.

It's currently blowing and the odd shower so a compulsory day off!!

Cheers Chris

Hi

We are at the Auckland Gliding Club park over in Drury (close to Auckland) nice quiet spot for the night. We spent the last week at Pt Jackson in Coromandel with it going from galeforce winds to glassy calm... not often seen on the Colville Channel, now with a freezer full of snapper we are heading up to the ARC parks of Wenderholm and Tawharanui for the next spell of fine weather coming... also close for our guests to visit.... Shhh snapper all ours ;)

Windy wet night but warm drizzle this morning we will wait for all those to whom have not discovered our secret to get off the roads before we make our dash for it

Cheers Heather

We are in Taupo visiting my Mum at her resthome. Tomorrow we plan on going to Lake Rerewhakaatu near Rotorua for the weekend. We hope to meet up with some friends from Hawkes Bay there. Then next week we are coming back to Taupo again for a few days and then back home to Tauranga at the end of the week.
