Put the van back under its cover where it will remain for the next month while I finish off my current work assignments.

Started to fabricate a storage box for the generator and spare toilet cassette. This box will be fitted to the rear bumper when complete.

Poor old Paikea hasn't been run for nearly 3 months. I know, I deserve a severe strapping. But pumped it all up today and off for the COF that will let us flee for the summer. Through with flying colours. Happy about-to-be-campers again. Oh well, that'll be after mollifying the editor of one of our local papers as to why we freedom campers aren't such a threat to the planet after all.

Cheers
John

Yes, but have gone down to spec levels from Overland down to Laredo. Billy basic but still a lot of kit for your money.

I'm sure it will be a big improvement over the "old" Overland Chris, just for the eight speed and extra grunt alone. I'll give Jeep credit, they are good value for money.
