Spark Business have a $100.85 deal with 10GB, unlimited calls etc. I'm about to sign up unless a better deal is forthcoming very soon.

sorry Neil.

DerekB I hope you can contradict this. ;)
DerekB wrote:...The routers that Spark are supplying have a firmware version locking out the 3G. This can be amended, so you get both 4G and 3G, and yes, mobile users.
Have you actually done this? How?
I would purchase the deal tomorrow (now) if that worked.

I have seen it running on 3G with different firmware. Just saying. I didn't change the firmware, it was done by a third party.

I had to stay with the conditions of my 24 month contract which still has 14 months to run. Will change to the 10GB plan when my contract expires.

Ok so Google will sort the modem firmware for me (surely!)

What brand and model modem is supplied?

(And again, anyone have an address I can 'qualify' from please?)

Neil

I called Spark on 123 from my mobile phone today as per my previous post. They were willing to sign me up immediately using our account with a very urban postal address in Christchurch. We do not reside there.
Unfortunately the plan appears to be of little use for our mobile lifestyle unless DekekB or someone else can offer a modem fix for 3G and urban 4G use.

Am I correct in thinking the 'T Stick' is Spark and the 'Vodem' unit I have is Vodafone version?.
