I see there is a Great NZ food Show on at Mystery Creek on the 6 & 7 September.
I am wondering if this is a new event or has it been around for years ? if it has been around for a while has anyone been and if so what did you think ?.
Another free rally on site from what I understand .

With no Covi Show in Auckland during September, this sounds like a really good alternative. I might have to begin fasting now in anticipation :-| :)

Hi there, this is a brand new show for the Waikato, sounds great with lots of celebrity chefs and even cooking classes. And yes there is a FREE rally using the nice new toilet block and shower facilities. I understand you can still book powered sites if you need them. Check out their website www.greatnzfoodshow.co.nz

Yes the Great NZ Food Show is a brand new show. With Annabelle White and NIci Wickes demonstrating and well as couple of the latest Masterchef contestants. Yes there is a Free Rally on site, for the weekend. I think the first 100 vans to register on site, get a 6 pack of Kronenbourg. There are cooking classes that you can book into as well.

[Edit: Please note that Blondie71 is one of the organisers of this show. The posts have been left in place because there is clearly some interest from our members]

Who of you are going this year ? we are still a little undecided.
Is the rally down on the flat where the campercare show rally was or is it up the top opposite gate 2 ?

Hi Warwick. Last year we were parked quite close to the big arch (Fontera?) at the bottom of the hill. Very relaxed and not a huge crowd. We are definitely on track to head there again this year.
