Winter Overnight Temps At Last

We have had two light frosts in succession - A first I think for this winter. However the cloud of annoying yellow pine pollen that covers Hawkes Bay in early spring each year arrived about a month early this year with the very mild June /July we have had. There is a good layer of snow on the Kaweka and Ruahine Ranges, so with some clear calm nights we could be in for a few more cold nights.
Those wintering over in their RV's, particularly in The South Island will be putting their heating systems and insulation to the test at present ;) :-T
