Pohara Boat Club Site

Postby 96coaster » Thu Sep 24, 2015 11:11 am

Noticed in the new Travel Directory that the entry for the Pohara Boat Club (old # 6021) has "vanished" , hope its not a case of "abuse it and lose it", although on webcam today there are 4 MH parked up.

It's a top spot and well worth a decent ( at least $5) donation. Reading previous threads I see there has been some discontent, and it was interesting to note that when we stayed there, ute load of workers from fishing boats used showers, hope they donated . Its a pity the dis-connected "$2 in slot" timers in showers don't work to sort out non payers

When we were there in February the caretaker indicated that the club site might be removed but the front area by the road will probably remain.
