Great names on Motorhomes around NZ !

Postby Roamnz » Tue Oct 07, 2008 7:47 pm

Do you have a nickname for your motorhome, bus, campervan, 5th wheeler tent or whatever ?

If so what is it and any particular reason why you chose that name ?

Our motorhome name is self explanatory as RoamNZ. Tonight we are parked overnight at Ambury Park ARC Park Mangere Bridge, ( along with seven other vehicles, ) and the motorhome beside us, is named ''Our Out House ' very clever. :D

Our old girl's name is nothing unusual, 'Country Road' but it's our number plate that gets grins - 0LFRTS - a present from our daughter.

Yes she is a mainly white sb3 '69 beddy we've had for 7+ years - was named before we got her so could be one you're thinking of.

We have a whole buncha names that keep revolving through our minds, but nothing really seems to stick, somehow. But Big Green Bus will do for the time being, I guess, even though it's not very original.

Our first campervan which we owned for six years was called "Truck Inn", an ex Maui rental on a Ford truck cab and chasis. When we had our dream motorhome built by Traillite on a brand new Isuzu cab and chasis we could not go past calling it "Truck Inn Too".

We can't agree so we have nothing on our Traillite.

John likes "Cullen'ry Delite" and I like "Sightseer".

Can you guess our surname?

But if John wins will I get people knocking on our door asking for a delightful treat?

Margaret
