83 Mitsi 6550 cc 7 m , 6 sp, weighing 6.2t on 8 ton sticker 495.000km does 5.7kpl no matter what roads. No work done on motor, but has new clutch 1 year ago. Use Pro Ma in fuel always as fuel consumption goes up without. Also stick to 90kph as same problem.

I added 1 litre of the Morey oil additive to the last oil change, also used the Morey diesel per fill app. 40ltr @ 65mls.
after reading about some impressive claims. I have just done 3,000km trial.
94 Canter 4 berth 3.3 does about 7-8 Km per litre just as before. Still don't use glowplugs to start.

Just did trip to Taupo and Back and ended up with headwind both directions! About 18 - 19 L/P/100 both ways - made my eyes water a bit as usually does around 13.5 to 16.5. :D

Fuel additive. Adds lubrication and anti diesel bloom (I think).

My average for a VW LT35 x 6.5m over the last 13,000 km is 10.97 km/l (9.12 l/100 km).

I maintain a record of every fill and kms covered as I have found from previous experience, a picking up an adverse deviation/trend is a good warning of arising problems.

Long time since I last posted on this thread. Our 1991 Fuso widebody 7m bus, just over 7t with 7.5L normally-aspirated engine (6D16), 6speed, consistently does 21-22L/100km over the last 43,000km and we frequently drive over very steep, windy gravel roads and almost invariably tow a 1200kg Jimny. I've tried a couple of fuel treatments and haven't found they make a scrap of difference. I do usually travel at 80-85km/h though as the fuel gauge makes the eyes blink at much over that.

Cheers
John
