Re: MPPT Timer Settings

I get that the Unit is designed to control street lighting and the inst manual that came with mine details all the time delays, ie so many minutes after sunset etc but are unable to fathom out 24 hr load on.

Is there an override that some person has found?

In the interim I am just running the load out of the battery connections of the controller, there is no shunt or battery monitor system fitted.
Cheers
John.

Hi If you set the load LED to "n" this should disable the timer (or maybe 17 ,on/off mode ) Paul

Do you have an MT-5 controller. Is that displaying correct info?

Yes we do have an MT-5 controller. At the moment neither of the panels are charging,
but will try each panel individually asyou suggested.
Will report back later.
We paid nearly $200 to have the additional panel connected and live half an hour from the
nearest auto electrician, and if we can fix it ourselves without paying more the better.

Almost sounds like a wire is loose and not making contact.
Good luck. Post pictures of what you find

All is now well with the panels, we had an electrician friend have a quick look today and it was the wiring where it comes through the roof, it was fairly tight and and must've been pulled to give a bit more wire, then with us travelling worked lose.
So thank you once again for all your help
