Newbie question around water heat/pump

Postby markj9035 » Mon Oct 19, 2015 7:58 pm

Hi all, I have a 1993 Mitsi Canter and it would appear the water pump has given up. The internal one, not the engine one. Can someone tell me if this is integral to the water heater untit too (Confort 3) or is it seperate? Also, can anyone recommend a place to get this sorted out in Christchurch area please?

Cheers,

Mark

Most water pumps are a stand alone unit delivering pressure to all appliances.
Follow the pipe from the water tank as there should be a pump in the line somewhere.

Our Canter had the pump in the RH rear corner under the seat.

Is the water heater not going as well?

Thanks all,

I'll check this out when I get home this evening. The water heater looked to be working last night, just no delivery of water to anywhere in the van.

Cheers all,

Found the pump, replaced the pump, generally tidied up the plumbing while I was at it. All good and working again.
