Thanks Chris. May be there tonight. I take it there is plenty of room still? 50/50 for us - Lake Ngaroto first choice but keeping an eye on the weather.

Space will not be an issue Dene as quite a few have already moved on. Smillie & Grant arrived last night, but will also be heading off later today. Nice friendly welcoming people. We are heading off up to Ardmore this afternoon.

In the dark, if driving from the airport end of Mystery Creek Rd you will go past Gates four then five for the Events Centre on your left. About 100m passed Gate five entrance, look out on your right for a gateway with a homemade sign, "288 motorhome parking' turn in there, the gate is opposite where the vines start for Coopers Winery. The driveway entrance looks like orange mud but is actually compacted metal and sand and firm.

If coming into Mystery Creek Rd from the other end towards the Events Centre, number 288 and the gate will be on your left just passed the Coopers Winery sign which will be on your right. If you get to Gate five on your right for the Events Centre you have gone too far.

Hook a left once in the paddock and for those who have 5th wheelers or caravans you should be able to park along the fence line and stay hooked up. Chris and his giant rig have departed and Roamnz will be leaving soon so lots of room available currently.

In the morning just walk up to gate 5 and look for the green and orange Go-bus shuttle, it leaves every ten minutes or so inside gate five, and returns from down the bottom periodically, a great service if you have spent a dollar or three and have bulky items like kindling splitters and bessamar pots and red line gumboots to carry! :-T

Wish I had read Smillie's post before I came in from the airport end and overshot the entrance. Sign is definitely designed for the other direction.

Cheers, Dene

Smillie, now that you're rural people at Kinloch you have to learn the language - it's Red Bands (unless they're cheap %#@*^!#b knock-offs that really are called Red Lines) :D

Back in the day............ when I was working on a farm, Red-Bands were the biz for longevity/quality but we preferred Perth Marathons (yellow-Band) as they were lighter and cooler to use. :D
