Good to hear you were dry Warwick :)
Also good to hear you got home safely in the wet. We got rear-ended on the way back: ours was pretty much undamaged but the unwarranted, unregistered small Jap car that hit us, is probably not worth fixing, although it was drivable.

Sorry to hear that Mark, guess you were in the Volvo which at least has some resistance? Hope they had 3rd party. We nearly had a similar "coming together" on the motorway in the bus taking us to the gig last night. Driver was extremely lucky to stop in time. Anyway, we ended up with the best seats we have ever had at Mt Smart in many shows. Pity they were out of cover in the rain, but still enjoyed a great show by one of the best bands ever. And Joe's still got it :D

BTW, ran into Warwick and Bernadette at the Covi show in the afternoon, along with Brian Stanley and several other people we know here.

Cheers

Yes, I guess the MX5 would not have fared so well :? :o

Great to hear that you had such good seats (even if you were water-cooled).
I was getting a bit despondent in the first half that it was the Henley/Frey/Schmit show - and Joe was not getting any exposure, but I was relieved to see that well and truly remedied in the second half. Loved that interplay between him and Frey.

I wonder how the Covi marquees fared later in Sunday? I guess they would have got them down PDQ.
