Got our tickets yesterday - all good :)
BUT
Noticed, when I was stooging around before they went on sale that AMEX holders could buy them last week.
Well, I'm an AMEX holder and wasn't notified of this. When I went onto the Amex site afterwards it seems that you must be either Twitter or Facebook enabled to get these notifications now. Not impressed.

Ticket Master will not have their tickets available to sell until June 10th and with the cheapest tickets being $148.30, much as I am a dedicated Eagles fan, I think I would rather invest in something a little more lasting :!: :)

I think that at that price Chris, you get to stand at a roadside stop on the top of the Bombays. :o :?

You can buy a very nice bottle of wine (or two) to enjoy at the same time and still be ahead. Yes I know, it is not the same as being there. 8-)

Im gutted -3 other family members and I missed out on getting tickets today. Funny thing was, we all were getting a message saying tickets were not yet available for at least 15 minutes after opening time, then once they appeared to come on sale, another message saying few left, but there were none available in any category.

Oh well,I probably saw them near their prime nearly 20 years ago. Just couldn't handle seeing the ravages of Joe Walsh in person, even if he is the world's best guitar player. Well, one of the top 10

Cheers

That is gutting, John. Maybe they'll announce a second concert - not uncommon.

For the future...
Register on the Frontier Touring website (free) for advance sales ie 1 week prior to general sales.
or
Get yourself an AMEX card for advance sales 2 weeks prior to general sales (But you have to be FB and/or Twitter literate to even get to hear about these. I have a card but am not registered on their FB page so didn't get to hear until it was too late :( )

And remember - you did get to see The Boss when others missed out ;)
