When needing laundry done, we also will usually stay in a top 10 Holiday Park to use their machines & clothes lines for drying. After renting a MH in America we realised our fifth wheeler at home was far superior for several reasons. A) no noise of shifting contents within the unit. B) can unhook the vehicle to go explore 4WD etc. Often MHs are too big to park in town or take on rough roads (electric bikes are great, but not in rainy weather). C) slide outs - makes the interior far more liveable without needing a cabana or enclosed awning attached. Just noticed a lot of these structures collapsed during windy weather (over 100km gusts). Having the WC/Shower in between the bedroom & living area also is a plus for us. I'd suggest writing down the features you feel are essential for your travels & then go from there as quite a few different models and configurations are out there to choose from.
