Be aware - some of those tiny 12 volt TV's suck a bit of power. We had a tiny majestic unit which drew about 5 amps :o
TV would probably only on for 1-2 hours at the end of the night.. if reception is available where it might be parked lol

Damn 12v fridges are expensive! Could buy a proper house fridge/freezer at some of these prices. Had no idea they would be this kind of price.

It does not matter what appliance you need for an RV or Boat - It is usually four times the price and 25 year old technology. There will be some caravan and motor home fridges struggling with the heat today :( Not our Samsung though. Happily sitting on 4 deg fridge and minus 18 freezer. :TU

It is a shame that Samsung do not use their super efficient inverter technology in a range of smaller fridges as the 269 kwh / year for our 255 lt fridge freezer easily competes with the nearest equivalent models in the link.

That battery only lasted two hours.

I think I just have to suck it up and buy a proper Deep Cycle battery. Keep waiting for batteries to go on special at SuperCheap/Repco but nothing lately.

That is a very small battery - 6.5 AH! I am amazed that it ran for two hours :o You really do need at least a 100 AH deep cycle battery and enough solar to top it up each day.

$290 would do the job ok.
