After a long period of inactivity we went out and aired our van out. Discovered a pretty hearty leak around the roof vent so we are going to bite the bullet and reconfigure the interior. Can anyone point me in the direction of a caravan(early nz style) dismantler? Would like to source a stainless steel sink without a bench attached. I would like to delete the inside cooker

Why do you need a dismantler? Taking it apart is the easy part

I have a small stainless sink available from my own remodelling right now. Used for 3 years but in perfect condition, just a bit smaller than we’d (now) prefer. Pm me if interested and I’ll send you the specs.

Murray Church at Hawke's Bay Caravan Sales in Napier has a large selection of second hand parts from older caravans.

Well I actually started the process of stripping the van out. Floors good which is a bonus. Has anyone painted over the veneer before. It appears my leak fix has worked and its not as bad as initially thought. Stripped cabinetry, kitchen and single beds out. Going to put an island bed in

Decided against island bed, not enough room. Built the base to fit 60l containers underneath. Narrowed up pantry, does anyone know where to source 3mm pvc edging?
