Just heard on the radio that white vinegar helps in the clean up after sticker removal.

The best product i have found on the market is "De-Solv-it" found at Mitre10 or Countdown stores, a natural citrus base, not cheap but lasts and lasts. Remove as much of the lable as you can with a heat gun, then dab or spray on to sticky base, which comes off like lightening without harming any paint work or other type of product.
This product is also brilliant on heavy carpet stains, crayon, blu-tack, tar/grease and oil, wax, chewing gum, and much more, bio-degradable.

if the glue is off but you can still see where its been its in the clear coat and can sometimes be cut and polished out but doesn't work all the time
