Hi all. It appears that our hubbo is not racking up the km's any more and I was hoping someone might be able to advise me on where I can get this looked at so those friendly folk in blue don't get upset wit me?
Any help appreciated

Make sure that the new one is the same RPK as the old one and take care that it is mounted correctly (some need a special heavy washer behind them to stop any wobbling, which could lead to an early failure).

There's an LTNZ form to fill in after changing your hub odometer and you can expect some argument about how many kilometers have elapsed while your old meter was not working. Basically they will look back at previous COF forms and compare hubodo readings with your vehicle speedo. If the old one bas been out for a while you may have to cough up for assessed RUC to bring the readings back into line.

Good luck!

I'm in my third.. So they do go.. Go but the right one, then see the Vtnz and they will sort it.
I keep a log just so if it happens again I can show where we are at. :TU

Thank you all for your help, but I do have 1 last question...
Where do you buy them, is it VTNZ?

We got ours at TRT (Te Rapa, Hamilton), although I suspect that most truck parts outfits could supply them. Take your old one with you for them to match.
