Shifted rear grey tank forward toward rear axle to improve van balance - in the process correcting rubbish original tank mounting. Also going through van correcting rubbish plumbing by van manufacturer. :x

Upgraded my sink drain pipe to one with an air intake to meet upcoming CSC check,
Turns out it WASN'T the 25 mm pipe causing the ridiculously slow drainage

4m pipe with no air intake causing a vacume in the P valve as far as I can tell... Air intake allowed air to escape and sink now drains in 20 seconds instead 3-4mins

Clever husband attached TV bracket (off of TM)to wall in our new (old) VW van. Then attached TV screen, tried it with the satellite dish out the window, then hooked in our wee $79.00 dvd player - and it all worked beautifully! Put in some extra hooks in cupboard, some non slip mats with Velcro pads in the shelves, and finished putting the last of the bedding and basics in. Final addition was a new set of "wings" on van. We are ready! Just a couple of weeks of dog/cat sitting while family in Melbourne and then our first weekend away to try everything out. Looking forward to lots of wee escapes leading into summer. Its been a beautiful weekend in Central Otago and driving home from Clyde today I envied the few vans I saw parked up by the dam and at Lowburn.

2x250w Solar panels are up and secured, but external wiring awaiting next good weather day...

20kgs each... So light on the ground (for their size) but damn heavy and hard to manipulate when balanced on the top of the bus beams!
