I usually dose our grey tank during the hotter months and if we are likely to be more than a couple of days between emptying. simply personal choice.

Homebrand laundry Soaker/Inwash booster, in other words, the best value for buck Sodium Percarbonate that I can find some of the big name brands have a rather miserable amount of active ingredient, I think this one is around 38%.

I usually pour a carefully calculated (actually just some random amount) down the shower plug hole before having a shower.

Random amounts are good. If it doesn't work, just put some more random amount in until it does.

Nappy San works good and my tank is 308 black. Table spoon every couple of days.
