We have had the Lemair version in both our last two vans and they were brilliant. They did a great job of washing and the spin at the end left little water to dry. The main negative was the water use. It would gobble through 60lt on a normal wash cycle. (Wash and two rinses @ 20lt each) When conserving water we would use laundry balls. http://www.livesimply.co.nz/live-simply ... aundry-kit and eliminate the two rinse cycles which was fine for lightly soiled clothes.

Jayco used to fit the Lemair as standard, but now fit the Sphere in all their vans. They do have an upgrade to a Dometic front load machine which uses much less water but is much dearer. There is a similar one marketed by Camec. https://www.rvworldstore.co.nz/camec-fr ... ng-machine.

Cheers

Just remember that if you permanently install a washing machine it has to be plumbed in to the waste system to comply with the NZ Standard. It is considered as a fixture under 7.1.1
The alternative is to have a portable roll tank set up the contain the waste with the appropriate fittings.
