Hi all. I have a 2004 Kristall Moorea 530EB caravan built in Belgium. Under the alum awning track running front to rear on both sides is a rubber seal. It has started to perish on the roof line from UV & also some of the original black mastic is starting to bulge. I want to reseal & replace the rubber before it leaks. I have Googled to find a replacement rubber but to no avail.
Has anyone had any experience with resealing the awning rail as on a lot of UK forums they suggest just using a suitable sealer & not replace the rubber. As the rubber moulds to any imperfections along the joins, just sealing the alum track on & screwing would leave gaps. Any advice would be appreciated
The photo's are of the bottom RH rail rubber which is the same as the awning rail rubber

I would recommend that you contact a nearby caravan and motor home repair specialist and ask them for advice. Where are you based? Someone on here will provide a recommendation once we have your location.
