I've got a chicken recipe that was given to me by a very old china men who I did some work for years ago.
I was never going to give this away but because I've been learning so much on this forum I will just ones.
Here we go,now you can use a whole chook cut up or like we do just buy chicken legs,we find that easyer and do about 6 or 8 at the time,if we don't eat them just leave them in the juice.
Garlic(i like garlic so use a lot like 6 gloves) 1 T spoon of that ground stuff that I don't like.
Ginger 1 or 2 T spoons
Water 1 cup
Soya sause 5 table spoons
Cooking oil 5 table spoons
Brown sugar 1 table spoon.
Now you can take the skin of if you like.
Bring this lot on the boil in a pot,put in you chook and bring it back to the boil ,turn it down and let is simmer turning the chook so now and then until done.
Serve on top of rice or noodles,BTW don't disgard the juice.
Enjoy Ton
