Well, you do have the right body of water, but absolutely miles from Rippon or any other vineyard. ;)

Yes, we found this spot to have lunch on our way through to Haast. About half way between The Neck and the top end of the lake where The Makarora River flows in. Zoomed in on this boat - barge? that must be used to ferry supplies to the other side of the lake.

OK, this one might be harder. I suggest you try to find the common theme in the 5 (yes five) pictures below, before working out the location. It is definitely "out of the beaten track".

Hint: It's a kind of arboretum - but only to do with a specific kind of trees.

Well I suspect that the species is Spruce and the location does remind me a bit of East Woodhill Arboretum on Wharekopae Road West of Gisborne.?
