At $1/watt, these Mono-crystalline $309 310 watt panels are excellent value.
Most importantly, they are PERC panels which hitherto have always carried a hefty price premium.

They are good value Neville Unfortunately the physical size of these panels prevented me from fitting them to our new caravan. However, all was not lost as Ben (Gadget) still had some 200 watt panels left over from the 15 panel private bulk import he did back in 2017. (All gone now) These also worked out right on $1 / watt, all be it not the higher efficiency "PERC" panels.

Would I be correct in assuming there would be no problem in adding a PERC panel to my existing non-PERC panels (provided of course I keep within the Amp-input capability of my controller) - after all, an Amp is an Amp, regardless of what type of panel it is produced by?

No problems there, John. As you say, an Amp is an Amp, regardless of the panel type.
If the new panel has a similar voltage to the existing panel(s) if can be wired in parallel with them.
If its current is similar to existing panel(s) current, it can be wired in series with them.
A totally different panel would be best served by having its own separate controller.
