Added solar panels on the roof. Used bracket fixings. It’s an old 2008 transit I’m home converting. Now when I get up to 70kph plus I get a whoomp noise. I’m guessing it’s the wind rushing between the van roof & panel. Anyone had any issues and more importantly success in fixing this?

Sounds like the roof is flexing a bit with the changed airflow.
Try blocking the flow at the front of the panels.

If you have fixed to roof racks it may be the wind going past the end of square or round tube like a flute effect. This is common and can be fixed by plugging the holes. Believe it or not, a mate of mine even fitted a 2nd hand diff head to his Hi-Ace van to fix the problem before figuring out what the problem was.
