Here's a new one for you all.
I'm standing looking out the kitchen window at the bus parked in the driveway which contains a reasonable sized power system and I'm asking myself how can I use that to reduce the house power bill?

We are in a similar situation. Sometimes we just go out to the motorhome with the milk and make our morning coffee. And pretend that we are parked up some where nice. It seems a shame not to use the power that the solar panels can produce on nice days.
Or I guess I could use an extension lead from the motorhome exterior power socket into the garage to run the garage freezer during the day.

Cheers,
Andrew

Just turn everything off in the house, lock it up and hit the road ;)

That's the best idea, Chris.

I always use the fridge in our bus as an overflow from the house fridge - providing that it does not impinge on the space needed to keep my beer cool.,
I am thinking about using the bus as a power supply for external LED security lights on the section.
