Even if you got a wiring diagram ( I doubt you will ) after this length of time and multiple owners I doubt it will be much help

These thing don't like sitting around. If its not a broken wire or something that got banged or not reconnected during the engine rebuild as said above maybe a contactor or relay has gotten too used to the time off. The good thing about these old girls is there are no computers and stuff to get in the way, just keep it simple and work your way through it.

Hi ,thanks for all help and suggestions, which I have all ready tried plus some others.I have given up trying to repair it and have wired in some new cables ,bypassing the rear box, all good now,time to hit the road, keep those wheels rolling .Paul
