Hi all ,I have a very frustrating wiring fault. The bare bones is that is stuck in the "safe" mode and I cannot start it from the drivers seat . I have run a cable pair from the read start button to the drivers position and can start it OK from there. Two question is there anywhere I can buy a wiring diagram , or is there anyone in the south island who has done work on these Hino and know there way around them. The safe mode is a switch at the rear of the bus which disables the start key in the drivers position. Thanks Paul

In my Hino the rear control panel can be used to start the motor.
As Busrq has mentioned try with the switch in the other position.

Hi Yes to Busrsq and the switch is OK.Should be noted I can start the bus from the rear start button with switch out/ Ie made.Cannot remember if switch should be in /open or pulled out /closed . Second note the bus has sat in Alexandra from 2 months while motor was rebuilt . I have a starting problem from the front position .Paul

Had exactly the same issue on mine and after 1.5yrs of trouble found a wire had broken inside the pvc insulation where the wires entre rear control panel , the circuit that runs the battery isolator is a loop with two switches in series running the isolate solinoid, good luck
