Some suggest not to use the VSR unit when replacing an AGM setup with Lithium po4 .
If the alternator is eg. 80 amp, the 270A/h po4 will accept all that current and any more as its rated input is 150Amp .
If the original Vehicle's wiring loom is not capable of carrying that load for say 60 - 90 minutes , some have gone up in smoke ==bad.
another expert ?? also commented on the ability of this battery to stay cool enough if this type of energy [eg 80 amps]is imputed for long periods. Most manufactures recommend charging in 2 stages . maybe this is to do with internal heat and this 270 A/h having no cooling system fitted which can be seen.
I note from a previous posting that 800 w of solar brings everything up grade by app. 10am
